On March 4th, Progressive Students of Milwaukee marched against Right to Work legislation in Wisconsin. Dozens of students and faculty, as well as local union members, protested, many of whom had been in Madison the week before protesting against Right to Work. The protest emphasized the importance of solidarity with private-sector unions, as well as the similarity between Walker's budget cuts and Right to Work.
Protesters demanded an end to the attacks on the working class, and pledged to continue to fight back in the future.
On March 9th, Scott Walker signed the Right to Work bill into law, making Wisconsin the 25th state to do so.
